Windows 7 RC Download & Requirements

As all of you know, the deadline to download Windows 7 rc is coming near and if you’d like to download a rc version, this is your chance. Aug 20,2009 is the end date for downloading the RC version.

The above link, takes you to the windows 7 rc download page, where you can select a 32 or 64 bit OS. You also have a chance, to check whether your system supports 64 bit. At the top of the page you can see that, rc downloads end by August 20, 2009. So Hurry!

The hardware requirements are as follows for general purpose.

• A PC with these minimum recommended specifications:
  - 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor or higher
  - 1 GB of system memory or more
  - 16 GB of available disk space
  - Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme)
  - DVD-R/W Drive
  Please note these specifications could change. And, some product features of Windows 7, such as the ability to watch and record live TV or navigation through the use of "touch," may require advanced or additional hardware.
